Crowd of 15 People Expected for Live 100th Taping of Peculiar Podcast

Seattle, WA – March 26, 2014 – Long time Seattle radio personalities Pat Cashman and Lisa Foster are rolling out the welcome wagon to the public for their 100th episode of the popular, award-starved Seattle-based Peculiar Podcast, with a live recording event Sunday, May 18 noon- 3PM at Third Place Commons at Lake Forest Park and the event is FREE (get a reminder here). The preceding is believed to be one of the longest sentences ever written.

The idea of Peculiar Podcast was conceived over a box of Franzia Chillable Red and Tim’s Chips in December 2011 nearly 10 years after Cashman and Foster involuntarily retired from KOMO AM 1000. Cashman went on to host the morning show on KJR for about ten minutes—and Foster moved to the MIX 92.5 morning show in 2002. She was soon MIXed up—and then MIXed out.

The duo came together again to create the Peculiar Podcast internet radio show that launched in January, 2012. In addition to, the program can be found on,, and on iTunes.

Pat Cashman is currently starring in “The 206”—a new sketch comedy TV show, airing Saturday nights on KING 5 after SNL. Lisa Foster works as a voice over talent and audio producer in Seattle. Both Cashman and Foster occasionally guest host on KIRO FM 97.3. Very occasionally.
